FOLLOW ME lets a band's musical director (MD) send cues to every band member's phone. We built it to collect as little as possible. There are no accounts, no ads, no analytics and no tracking.

What goes to the room server

When you host or join a band, your phone connects to a FOLLOW ME room server and sends:

• The name you type (optional, up to 16 characters) and the part you play (drums, keys, and so on).
• The cues the MD fires, and clock-sync timing numbers used to line the phones up.
• If the MD uses MIDI clock: tempo and beat position. Never audio.

This lives in the server's memory only while the band is in session. A room is deleted 30 minutes after everyone leaves, and every room is deleted after 12 hours at most. Nothing is written to a database, and nothing is sold or shared.

If you run the room server on your own computer (for venues without internet), that data never leaves your network.

What stays on your device

Your settings, key maps, saved batches and voice choice are stored on your device only. Deleting the app (or clearing the site's data in your browser) removes them.

Microphone, camera, contacts, location

FOLLOW ME does not use them. The voice you hear is pre-recorded and ships inside the app.

Bluetooth and local network

The iOS app asks for Bluetooth only to connect wireless MIDI controllers you choose to pair, and for local network access only to find and talk to a room server on your Wi-Fi. Neither is used to identify or locate you.

Purchases

In the iOS app, the Band Plan subscription is sold and billed by Apple. We receive no payment details. On the web, any checkout is handled by Stripe; we only receive confirmation that a purchase is valid.

Children

FOLLOW ME is rated 4+ and collects no personal information from anyone, including children.
